<p><strong>Lunge Lean</strong></p>
<p>The first quick ab exercise is the lunge lean. This makes use of your leg muscles along with your core muscles, and can be practically done wherever you are. First off, you start with the basic lunge position. Step forward with your left foot and bend at the left knee. Your right foot should be positioned behind, bended and lowered to the floor until the left leg forms a 90-degree angle. While doing this, you also put your hands on the sides of your hips and lean forward. Slowly and surely straighten out your right leg, making sure that your ab and core muscles keep you balanced. Do this exercise position for 8 to 10 times before switching legs.</p>
<p><strong>Jackknife Sit-up</strong></p>
<p>Of course the classic sit-up is no stranger to us. While it is effective in chiseling women’s abs, it also wouldn’t hurt to try out something more challenging. This is where the jackknife sit-up comes in. As with the normal sit-up, you first lie on your back on the floor. Extend your feet and rest your hands to your sides to make your body straight. Now try to lift your upper body off the floor using your abdominal muscles. All the while, you should try to keep your back straight. Bend your legs and bring your knees toward your upper body as far as you can, too. While doing all these, you are actually engaging both your upper and lower ab muscles. It’s like hitting two birds with one stone! For faster and more effective results, try holding on this position for one to two seconds before returning to square one. Repeat for 10 to 12 times daily.</p>
<p><strong>V-ups</strong></p>
<p>Another abdominal exercise that will challenge one’s ab strength is the V-up. You first start off by lying on your back, just as in the jackknife sit-up. The difference is you raise your arms above your head instead of putting them on your sides. Then you lift your upper body off the floor while keeping your back straight. While doing this, keep your legs together and straight, and lift them off the floor, pointing them towards the ceiling. Try to touch your arms to your toes (it goes without saying that you should not force it, lest you experience muscle strain). Hold peak position for one to two seconds then return to starting position. Repeat the V-ups for 10 to 12 times.<strong></strong></p>
<p>For best results, combine two or all three exercises in your daily ab workout. In a matter of weeks, you’re sure to be that working woman with the perfect abs.</p>

<p>They figure that the more they can work these muscle tissues, the more tone and definition they will see.</p>
<p>But, is this really the case?</p>
<p>Can you really get flat abs just by performing a wide number of abdominal muscles?</p>
<p>Let’s take a closer look at this question so that you can get the vital answers that you need to know.</p>
<h2><strong>What It Takes To Get Flat Abs </strong></h2>
<p>The very first thing that you’ll need to think about when asking whether you can get flat abs by performing abdominal crunches alone is what it actually takes to get those flat abs.</p>
<p>If the truth is told, every single one of you has abs already.  We’re born with abdominal muscles and as life goes on, provided you’re at least mildly active, they’re only going to get stronger.</p>

<p>They can help you strengthen your abs, but they won’t help you burn the fat that’s covering them.</p>
<p>For that, you’ll need a different approach.  Instead what you should be focusing on is a full body weight lifting workout that will cause you to burn off hundreds of calories each time you do it and then a proper diet plan that is reduced in calories and higher in protein.</p>
